Our US visitors use British Airways or Emirates to arrive in Dar.  When you take into account the nightmare that the Economist newspaper calls London Heathrow, the smooth connection through Dubai’s brand new terminal is often so much more pleasant. Both airlines however operate excellent services from the Americas . For the more culturally sensitive passengers, Ethiopian Airlines fly from New York and Washington to Dar es Salaam via Rome, Addis Ababa and Nairobi.
