Our cook Mzee Ali, has been with us for six years.  He is adept at cooking on charcoal and with the limited resources that Pemba once had.  Happily the markets in Pemba are now bustling with fresh produce from the Usambara Mountains in mainland Tanzania. Our meat ranges from locally sourced products to imported meat from around the globe. Our fish varies from season to season. This is all line caught and dependant upon the luck of our local fishermen.

Kervan Saray Beach offers you a set four course nightly menu. This includes salads, fruits, desserts, and of course a daily vegetarian option.  Please be aware that due to local conditions, some items are seasonal.

The catch of the day comes by during a surface interval.
